Group Study rooms

Four group study rooms are on the first floor: two room have a table and 6 chairs, two rooms have 5 lounge chairs, all four rooms have a tv screen


First floor study spaces




Work one-on-one with peer tutors to improve your written work. These trained student tutors will assist you in developing your work at all levels. For more information, visit The Writing Center.


Thirty one- or two-person study carrels are available on a walk-in basis. All have power and network connections. They are located across the west side of the second floor and the east and west ends of the third floor. There also are four group-study carrels on the south-east part of the second floor. They have power and network connections, and they can be configured with a variety of audiovisual equipment. These can be used on a walk-in basis or reserved ahead of time.


Heterick Library has a computer classroom on the first floor. It is usually available to students on a walk-in basis; however, it may be reserved for classes or demonstrations. The classroom has 30 networked computers, a computer for instructional purposes, and two ceiling-mounted screens.
