Juried Exhibitions & Scholarships

Art & design students are strongly encouraged to apply and participate in competitions, scholarship events and juried exhibits. Below is a partial list of area juried shows and scholarships. Other competitions are announced in the department’s newsletter and posted on the department bulletin board.

The department views these opportunities for students an important component to the educational process and mission. The process not only gives students a practical “real world” experience, but also allows students to build a portfolio, confidence, a resumé and network. If students have questions or concerns about the application process, please consult with a studio advisor or faculty advisor.
