The ONU Music Department is an exciting and challenging place to study music. Our teaching staff is made up of consummate professional performers who love to teach their craft, directors who won’t accept anything less than your best and scholars who lead in their academic disciplines. Our many choirs, bands and orchestras perform concerts on campus, on tours in the USA and abroad. After graduation, our students succeed by becoming public school teachers or going on to graduate school. At ONU, music students typically fare very well with financial aid, so let me encourage you to sign up for a talent award audition soon! Consider coming for an overnight visit. We can arrange for you to have a lesson, attend a class, hopefully listen to a rehearsal and spend time with faculty and students.
