Help with Public Speaking
Our tutors can help you prepare for presentations including public speaking classes and capstone presentations. Some courses require or recommend appointments at the CSC, and you can always choose to come on your own!
Organization & Outlining:
On a one-to-one basis, a tutor will work with you on written preparations for your speech. This includes reviewing your outline of the speech, as well as discussing considerations such as attention-getting devices, transitions, how to write for the ear, and citations.
Recording:
When you are ready to practice delivering your speech, a staff member records and reviews your presentation. Seeing yourself will help you improve your delivery. A web link to the digital recording is provided for further review.
