After completing my undergraduate degree at Ohio University (Linguistics) in 1996, I left for Bangkok, Thailand, where I lived for nearly ten years. I completed my M.A. in Applied Linguistics at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Bangkok, Thailand in 2000.
I returned to the U.S. once in 2002 and taught at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio before briefly returning to Thailand for my wedding.
In 2006, I once again returned to the U.S. and accepted a full-time position at Ashland University’s Intensive English Program (ACCESS) in Ashland, Ohio. After five and a half years there, I accepted the position as the director of Ohio Northern University’s new Intensive English Program in Ada, Ohio.
