The Smith Educational Wing of the Freed Center for the Performing Arts is home to classes in Communication Studies. The facility includes classrooms with a complete array of audio-visual capabilities, a computer lab, and radio and TV studios.
Communication Studies majors secure employment with a wide variety of organizations. Students have gone on to work for the American Cancer Society, the Buckeye Ranch, the Westport Country Playhouse, InfoCision, the Alzheimers Association, and Wyatt, Tarrant, and Combs LLP among others.
Our graduates have attended the University of Kentucky, The Ohio State University, Purdue University, Ohio University, Bowling Green State University, Kent State University and many other top notch communications programs throughout the country.
Several of our graduates decide to further their education in areas such as communication, higher education, and law. Past graduates have gone on to study at the University of Kentucky, West Virginia University, the University of Cincinnati, Tiffin University, and the Widener University School of Law.
