2015 District Science Day
The Ohio Academy of Science District Science Day 2016 will be held at Ohio Northern University on March 19, 2016.
Open to any student from grade 5 through high school. **Note: This year a limited number of grade 5 and 6 students will be able to attend State Science Day if they receive a superior ranking at District Science Day. All questions should be directed to Dr. Jamie Sanford, District Science Day Coordinator by calling 419-772-2325 or by email.

What are science days or science fairs?
Science days or science fairs are occasions for the display and evaluation of student-originated, inquiry-based scientific research projects. A successful science day program will achieve several student-learner objectives:
Develop inquiry and problem-solving skills
Improve organizational ability
Develop both written and oral communication skills
Improve in-depth knowledge of science
