ONU Symphony: Symphonic Soundscapes

The ONU Symphony Orchestra explores the many soundscapes created for symphony orchestra. A winner of the ONU Concerto Competition Joshua Purk, marimba, will perform Concerto for Marimba and Orchestra by Brazillian composer, Ney Rosauro. The orchestra will encore a performance of last year's commissioned work, Silent Snow, by Joseph Curiale. Additionally, the symphony will play selections from Bizet's Carmen Suites, Brahm' Hungarian Dance No. 5 and Wagner's Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. There will be a pre-show discussion at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets are: General $15; Senior/Non-ONU Students $12; Child $9; ONU Student $5.
