Beta Alpha Psi Elects Officers

 The Ohio Northern University James F. College of Business Administration presents Outstanding Service Award

Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration honored Oscar J. Mifsud with an Outstanding Service Award on Saturday, Oct. 6.The award, given annually at Homecoming, honors individuals who have provided sustained and outstanding service to, and whose contributions have positively impacted, the College of Business Administration and Ohio Northern. Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration will present “Will Health Care Reform Improve Your Health,” a lecture by Brian Smith, as part of the Carroll V. ONU to present panel debate on ‘fracking’

ONU's Community Economic Development Center scheduling consultations, workshops

The Community Economic Development Center (CEDC) at Ohio Northern University is scheduling one-on-one consultations and has planned workshops and classes to support individual and small business owners in Hardin, Hancock, Allen and Wyandot counties.The recently opened CEDC’s mission is to cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset and to create opportunities for furthering employment opportunities in the four-county area. Kleine named new associate dean of College of Business Administration

Dr. James Fenton, dean of Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration, has announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Kleine as the new associate dean of the business college. Kleine has also been bestowed with the first James F. ONU receives funding to develop new Risk Management and Insurance major

Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration was awarded a grant from the Robert P. Ashlock Memorial Program, funded through Assurex Global and administered by The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation to develop a risk management and insurance (RMI) major.Ohio Northern is planning to introduce the new major to address the increasing demand for jobs in the emerging risk management field. ONU receives Rural Business Enterprise Grant to support regional small business growth

The United States Department of Agriculture has awarded the entrepreneurship program at Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration a Rural Business Enterprise Grant (RBEG) to support small business growth and development in a four-county area surrounding ONU. The grant totals $92,000.The grant provides ONU with the funds to develop outreach programs to help develop growth and expansion of microenterprise development (small businesses with less than 50 employees and gross sales less than $1 million) and growth in a four-county area: Allen, Hancock, Hardin and Wyandot. ONU honored with Edison Gold Medal as member of KEEN

The Kern Entrepreneurship Education Network (KEEN), a collection of 20 colleges and universities that includes Ohio Northern University, was awarded an Edison Gold Medal in the category of Collaborative Networks and Support on Thursday, April 26. The award was announced during the Edison Awards’ 25th anniversary celebration in New York City.The colleges involved with KEEN were recognized for their collaborative work in creating the 21st-century engineer by instilling the entrepreneurial mindset in all of the nearly 19,000 students they collectively teach.
