Global Service for Engineers in Peru


Description

Live in the heart of the Andes and use your engineering skills to work on projects such as clean burning stoves, clean water projects, and green house projects. Immerse yourself in Peruvian history and culture with visits to the world wonder of Machu Pichu as well as Chinchero, Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Aguas Calientes, & Pisac.

Program Overview

4 weeks: attend class session in the morning and work in engineering service learning projects in the afternoon.

Earn 3 credits hours of ENGR 3000 Global Service for Engineers

Accommodations: host families

No language pre-requisites

Open to all engineering majors

Cost

$5462 - This is 40% off the full priced program!

Includes:

  • Tuition, educational fees,¬†Engineering Study Abroad fee, International Center fee
  • ¬†Housing, international health insurance, cultural excursions, transportation in country, 3 meals a day with host families, and a donation to each service project.

Does not include:

  • Airfare - There are 3 airfare stipends for $750 each being awarded from the ONU College of Engineering
  • Incidentals/Personal spending

Must have a 2.5 GPA
