Catalog Description:

 

Introduction to and applications of topics from algebra and finite mathematics relevant to business: equations and inequalities, systems of linear equations and matrices, linear programming, and mathematics of finance.

 

Course Objectives:

 

To introduce the student to some topics from algebra and finite mathematics and their applications in the field of business.

 

Textbook:  College Mathematics for the Managerial, Life, and Social Sciences, 6th Edition, by S. T. Tan.
